I studied solo piano at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and completed my postgraduate studies in Chamber Music at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. I continued my professional development with a scholarship as Pianist in Residence at the prestigious Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada. My extensive studies enabled me to learn from world renowned pianists and teachers and I am passionate about inspiring pupils on their musical journey.

I have over two decades of experience in the field of education, teaching piano both privately and at several independent schools including Glenalmond College and Strathallan School in Scotland, and Brambletye Prep School in West Sussex. I have also been a Director of Music and piano teacher at Packwood Haugh Prep School in Shropshire, at Maidwell Hall Prep School in Northamptonshire and further afield in South East Asia at Rugby School Thailand.

I welcome pupils of all levels and ages, and lessons are tailored to suit your individual interests and goals, whether it be preparing for ABRSM exams or learning for fun.

I understand the importance of building a strong rapport with my pupils and will provide you with regular positive feedback to maintain momentum and progress.
